“It's the most beautiful spa in America," says Martha Stewart of Fontainebleau’s Lapis Spa. Luxury spa treatments include outstanding facials and ocean-inspired wraps, but what stands out are the amenities you enjoy afterward: mineral pools, massage-jet showers, eucalyptus steam baths. And then "you lie on a marble chaise or bench by the pool," she says of the room modeled after the hammams of marrakech.
If you think your Fontainebleau suite is an indulgence, wait until you experience Lapis Spa, our luxury Miami Beach spa. Prepare to transport your mind, body and soul to new places at the ultimate Miami Beach spa hotel. Take in dramatic ocean views while our treatment therapists pamper your body and soul to levels you never thought possible. We invite you to inquire about Lapis spa packages and monthly specials.

Can I bring my phone?
Please no phones, electronic devices that may disrupt another guest's enjoyment. No photography allowed.
What does the H next to different treatments signify?
The H indicates a heat treatment. Guests who are pregnant, have high blood pressure, or suffer from coronary illness are urged to not partake of these treatments and amenities. For guidance, please consult a spa associate.
How early should I arrive?
We suggest you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your first appointment to allow ample time to change, shower, and acclimate to the spa environment. To experience Lapis Ritual Water Journey prior to your treatment, arrive one hour or longer in advance. A late arrival to your appointment will result in an abbreviated treatment and full price will be charged.
Will I be expected to disrobe for a spa treatment?
Above all, we want you to be comfortable. It is customary for guests to completely disrobe for their spa services, but you may wear a swimsuit or undergarments if you wish, yet your body will be draped at all times. Your preferences will be respected.
What should I bring?
Robes, slippers, private lockers, grooming amenities and toiletries are provided. Bring a bathing suit and wear casual clothing and no jewelry.
How do I prepare for my treatment?
Showering is essential prior to entering any of the communal water amenities and before any treatment. Also arrive at treatment without jewelry or cell phone.
May I use the spa if I'm pregnant?
Certainly. You will, however, want to avoid treatments using deep pressure and heat as well as the Immersion Mineral Jet Bath. Please notify us of your due date when scheduling your appointment so that we can assist in determining the best treatments for you at our Miami luxury spa. Massage will only be offered to guests in the second or third trimester.
Special health considerations?
Your health is important to us. If you are pregnant or have any allergies, physical ailments or disabilities please let us know so that we can help you choose the best treatments for you.
What else should I be sure to keep in mind during my spa experience?
Personal Care. To ensure that you reap the full benefits of the luxury spa experience, we suggest:
- Take care not to overheat in the water or steam amenities.
- Enjoy fresh fruit and other healthy snacks to re-energize.
- Drink plenty of water and refreshing teas to prevent dehydration.
