In this role, Goldfarb oversees all aspects of the oceanfront property, with more than 20 acres and 1,504 rooms. Under Goldfarb’s leadership, Fontainebleau launched BleauLive, the resort’s entertainment platform that merges one-of-a-kind vacation experiences with performances by top musical artists. He also has been instrumental in numerous physical plant enhancements.

Carlos Noriega, Vice President of Life Safety & Risk Management

As Vice President of Life Safety & Risk Management for Fontainebleau Miami Beach, Carlos Noriega is responsible for the development and execution of security plans for the largest resort on the Eastern seaboard of the United States. Prior to his appointment at Fontainebleau, Noriega served nearly 28 years with the Miami Beach Police Department, most recently as Chief of Police. Throughout his tenure with the Department, Noriega handled strategic planning for major events in the Miami Beach area.

David Chin, Director of Information Technology

David Chin is the Director of Information Technology for Fontainebleau Miami Beach. As Director of IT, Chin is responsible for the technology operations, organizational technical infrastructure, payment card industry (PCI) compliance and fiscal budgeting. Under his direction, Fontainebleau Miami Beach operates one of the most technologically friendly resorts in the United States. Since re-opening in 2008, every guest room features Apple® technology, including a personal 20” iMac and iPod docking stations. The resort also features 27 digital, interactive Wayfinders throughout the property that serve as virtual maps. Gotham Steak, one of the resort’s three signature, award-winning restaurants, offers its wine list on iPad menus, providing guests with tasting notes on each bottle.

Josie Feria, Director of Spa Operations

Josie Feria, Director of Spa Operations at Fontainebleau’s Lapis Spa, draws from her 30 years of beauty industry experience to create a sanctuary within the iconic Miami Beach hotel. In 2007, Feria was tapped to open Lapis Spa during the resort’s $1 billion renovation. Designed by renowned architecture and design firm Richardson Sadeki, and inspired by the world’s earliest traditional thermal spas, the 40,000 square foot, two-level oasis offers guests the design and service amenities of a destination spa within a luxury resort. Lapis encourages guests to take part in different “water journeys,” designed by Feria, to utilize the unique water features of the spa, such as the Elements Rain Tunnel, the Bleau Rain Room, and the mineral co-ed pool. Feria oversees all daily operations of Lapis Spa, including sales, marketing and program development.

Adam Klein, Director of Condo-Hotel Operations

Adam Klein has served as the Director of Condo-Hotel Operations at Fontainebleau Miami Beach since May 2005. Klein joined the resort as the Director of Tresor, the all-new luxury suite tower. In 2006, Klein orchestrated the closure of Fontainebleau’s historic building and transitioned hotel operations into Tresor in preparation for the resort’s $1 billion renovation. Klein played a key role in the planning and development of the resort renovation as the Hotel Operations designate. In March 2008, Klein was instrumental in the opening of the new 286-suite Sorrento tower and the official grand opening of the newly transformed Chateau and Versailles towers, resort public areas and poolscape.
